The parental premise is more than helpful. Based on the popular memoir Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love, the film documents the efforts of widow father Matthew Logelin to cope with the sudden death of his wife, raise his daughter alone, and to balance the emotional attacks that inevitably haunt.
This is probably why the book was adapted; Its peculiar mix of sadness and sweetness makes it a heartbreaking part of Hollywood, and given the sad accompaniment to the story, it should at least be believable.
Fatherhood is fast becoming one of June’s hottest titles for Netflix. In large part because the big comedians are taking on more serious roles. It will be very interesting to see if Hart can prove himself as a dramatic actor and perhaps open the door to a future career for the famous stand-up actor.
It’ll be interesting to see if Fatherhood manages to overcome the stereotypical heat and drama in the trailer. It would be great if audiences could recommend this movie in its entirety while highlighting a famous Kevin Hart performance that this movie is clearly invested in.
Parenting marks Hart’s second attempt on a dramatic road. Starring Bryan Cranston, The Upside also aims to capture the harmony between heartfelt franchise and silly comedy. With critics criticizing the film for its predictable (almost humiliating) plot, it’s hard to shake off the film’s infectious optimism. Hopefully Hart’s authorship continues the inspiration, but expands it a bit in the storytelling department.
Mad About You graduate Lil Rel Howery, Paul Reiser and Nigerian-British actress Deborah Ayorinde starred in Fatherhood, a Sony Pictures comedy-drama starring Kevin Hart.
The film is currently based on a screenplay by director Paul Weitz and Dana Stevens, based on the original. Image from the book Two Kisses for Maddy by Matthew Logelin. This is the true story of father who forced to raise his son alone and unable to meet this challenge.
